Auspicious Golden Fish
Part of buddhism's 8 auspicious symbols known as the Ashtamangala, these are the golden fish representing fearless freedom from suffering, personal happiness, fertility and abundance as well as good fortune in general.
At 20x20 CM, this ahimsa silk painting is set into a deep frame sitting on a gilded 'matting' of burlap so can be free standing and placed on a table top and part of a shrine of wanted. All the gold on the fish is 24ct as is the flaming Treasure vase.
