Kali's compassionate fury
With rage birthing from unfathomable depths
and a sword with which to shatter
A fury born of pure compassion
to render anew, this world of matter
Demolishing the illusion of reality
no more intellect ego or will
A sky hailing frozen blood
an ocean with nothing to fill
Stoically, the jackal accompanies
to protect during decay
Uroboros applies the pressure
reborn to a new day
Smashing through to white-light consciousness
raining a myriad of stars
Dissolution is worth the agony
As a new universe is now ours
This is no 'anthem' to condone anarchy nor bloodshed...this is Kali. When our world feels like it's falling apart & we're feeling desolate in the valley of death and shattered reality.
Understand, that lurking in the shadows is the jackal... he is our protector and strength.
Often seen as carrion consuming, as well as the head of Anubis, he will walk us to where our souls are judged. Thinking metaphorically, we could surmise that we, in fact, judge our selves and that it is the rotten, extraneous to our higher requirements, that are consumed, allowing for an essential form to continue.
Very often, we see Kali imagery, with a snake in there somewhere ... Here, perpetually consuming his own tail, I've used THE snake - Uroboros, The archetypal image of renewal and as with all serpents, sheds the old skins, giving way to the new. Snakes are also symbolic of the 'cure being in its own venom' . Kali is wrathful and shattering, but here, she rides her blue lotus - she is ultimately truly compassionate and like lotus, blooms through dark and dirty waters.
This ride may be horrendous at the moment....and who knows how things will play out...but they will....and on the other side, there will be a whole new reality.
